"Bra" cheese, a semi-fat cow's milk cheese that can be supplemented with sheep's and/or goat's milk, has historically been produced in the province of Cuneo and takes its name from the municipality of Bra, where the cheese, originally produced in the mountain pastures, was traditionally aged and sold.
